TrendForce: Raises Q3 and Q4 DRAM contract price expectations, benefiting Micron and other DRAM manufacturers
BlockBeats News, on June 30, high-tech industry research firm TrendForce raised its forecast for the quarter-on-quarter growth of PC DRAM contract prices in the third quarter of 2026 from 8–13% to 15–20%, and for the fourth quarter from 0–5% to 3–8%. In addition, server DRAM contract prices in the third quarter are expected to rise by 13–18% quarter-on-quarter, mainly driven by strong server demand and overall tight supply.
Analysts pointed out that this price increase prediction is positive for DRAM manufacturers such as Micron, reflecting continued supply and demand imbalance in the memory market impacting industry revenues.
