According to a report by the Brazilian Federal Revenue (RFB), the proportion of female participants in cryptocurrency trading in Brazil increased from 11.34% in 2019 to 29.96% in December 2025, and reached 40.95% in January 2024. The proportion of trading volume by female investors remained steady at 12.88% in 2025, similar to 2019. Brazil has launched the DeCripto system for cryptocurrency asset declarations, and mandatory monthly declarations will be enforced starting from July 1, 2026.
