As investors pour into the defense sector, autonomous drone startup Quantum Systems raises $1.2 billion.

German autonomous drone startup Quantum Systems has announced the successful completion of a $1.2 billion Series D funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to around $8 billion. The company, which is developing unmanned systems for land, sea, and air, stated that the round was co-led by Blackstone, Noteus, Airbus, and Advent, with participation from Bond, Fidelity Management and Research Company, Balderton, and HV Capital.
