Reuters Survey: CAD Expected to Appreciate 1.3% in Next 3 Months
On July 3, a Reuters survey indicated that the Canadian dollar (CAD) is expected to appreciate by 1.3% over the next three months, with the exchange rate rising to 1 USD to 1.40 CAD (compared to the June survey's expectation of 1 USD to 1.37 CAD). It is also anticipated that the CAD will appreciate by 4.3% over the next 12 months, with the exchange rate reaching 1 USD to 1.36 CAD (up from the June survey's expectation of 1 USD to 1.34 CAD).
