```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on July 7 that the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) released the World Investment Report 2026 on the 7th. The report states that global foreign direct investment (FDI) is expected to grow by 6% in 2025, reaching $1.6 trillion, ending the two-year streak of decline. However, the recovery is narrow, fragile, and uneven. The report shows that developed economies will see an 11% increase in attracting foreign capital, while developing economies will only grow by 2%. The world's top 20 foreign investment destination economies attracted over 80% of global foreign direct investment, highlighting a trend toward increasingly concentrated investment. This trend is especially evident in industries related to technology, energy, and industrial policy. In 2025, strategic sectors such as artificial intelligence infrastructure, semiconductors, critical minerals, and energy transition technologies and services will account for 44% of total global greenfield investment, compared to only 16% in 2020.```
