Golden Ten Data, July 7 — BlackRock announced on Tuesday that it will launch an ETF tracking the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 Index, aiming to meet the growing demand from investors eager to participate in the AI-driven stock market rally. The "iShares Nasdaq 100 ETF" by the world's largest asset manager will track this flagship U.S. index and begin trading on Thursday. Recently, the Nasdaq adjusted its inclusion criteria to accelerate the addition of newly listed companies such as SpaceX to the index. BlackRock's ETF will compete with Nasdaq 100-related products under Invesco; Invesco has long dominated this field, with its QQQ Trust Series 1 and Nasdaq 100 ETF popular among investors seeking exposure to large-cap growth and tech stocks. Last month, State Street Bank also launched a Nasdaq 100 ETF.
