UBS: SpaceX Has an Unparalleled Asset Portfolio
Odaily reports that UBS analysts stated Elon Musk's SpaceX offers a business model that allows it to seize opportunities in the space, connectivity, and artificial intelligence sectors. They initiated coverage of the stock with a buy rating and a target price of $210. "We believe SpaceX consists of a set of unparalleled assets that provide multiple upward drivers for long-term investors with a tolerance for risk," said the UBS analysts. Expanding the scale of its Starship launch vehicles will enable SpaceX to unlock opportunities in space, communications, and AI, with the total potential market approaching $30 trillion. Altman: Safety comes first, no IPO timetable, postponing the release of GPT-6.1 Astra out of extreme caution
OpenAI CEO Altman stated that the IPO may only be considered after the company gains a clearer understanding of how to safely manage the "next-level AI." He also noted that Nvidia’s safety systems for AI are not a "complete solution;" AI is more of a scientific problem than an engineering one.
