IMF lowers global economic growth forecast, raises China growth expectation
Golden Ten Data reported on July 8 that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released updated content for its World Economic Outlook report on July 8, lowering the global economic growth forecast for 2026 by 0.1 percentage points to 3%, and raising China's economic growth forecast by 0.2 percentage points to 4.6%. The report also lowered the growth forecast for developed economies by 0.1 percentage points to 1.7%, and for emerging markets and developing economies by 0.1 percentage points to 3.8%.
