Acelen Renewable Energy has signed a five-year agreement with global agribusiness giant Bunge.

According to the agreement, Acelen will supply soybean oil to Bunge's biorefinery located in Bahia, Brazil. This cooperation marks an important step for Acelen in the renewable energy raw material supply chain sector. The Bahia biorefinery is one of Bunge's key production facilities in Brazil, focusing on the production of biofuels such as renewable diesel. As a core raw material, the stable supply of soybean oil is crucial for the continuous operation of the refinery. Through this long-term agreement, Acelen secures an important export channel for its products, while Bunge locks in the source of a key raw material, strengthening the resilience of its biofuel production supply chain. This move also aligns with the growing demand for sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel both in Brazil and globally.
