Bankless founder: The significance of the Strait of Hormuz may be diminished, as the market is seeking alternative routes
Odaily reported that Bankless founder David Hoffman stated that despite continuing geopolitical tensions recently, oil prices remain at a relatively low level. This may indicate that the market is gradually adapting and reducing its dependence on key energy corridors. He posted on X: "After all this, oil prices are still depressed. Perhaps the importance of the Strait of Hormuz is being permanently diminished, as the market turns to alternative routes to bypass this passage."
The market believes that the global energy supply chain may be reducing reliance on a single strategic route through diversified transportation pathways, alternative supply channels, and infrastructure adjustments.
