Glonghui, July 14 – Erika Najarian, an analyst at UBS, stated that Goldman Sachs faces the biggest test in this round of earnings, and it is not easy to stand out among the major Wall Street banks. Meanwhile, investors are focusing on who might succeed Jamie Dimon as Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan. Najarian said on Monday, "Given market expectations and investor portfolios, Goldman Sachs faces the greatest challenge." Najarian noted that five out of the six largest U.S. banks will report earnings on Tuesday. "It is not easy to stand out, especially since I expect JPMorgan's earnings call will focus heavily on the succession issue." Najarian is the equity research analyst responsible for large banks and consumer finance at UBS. This week, U.S. large banks with a combined market value of more than $2 trillion will release their earnings intensively. Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Citigroup will announce their results on Tuesday, while Morgan Stanley will report on Wednesday. Compared with the usual three-day earnings announcement schedule for these industry leaders, this year's timetable is more condensed.
