Sources claim SK Hynix is accelerating mass production of HBM4 for Nvidia

Glonhui July 14｜According to The Bell, SK Hynix has officially begun mass production and shipment of 12-layer HBM4 for Nvidia, with the products entering the ramp-up phase. Unlike previous products classified as samples, this is the first time HBM4 is delivered in its final specification, having completed all quality certifications, and is intended for Nvidia’s next-generation AI platform “Vera Rubin.” Reportedly, starting from September this year, SK Hynix will formally expand HBM4 shipment volume to fully meet Nvidia’s demand for high-end computational chips.
