According to a report by Golden Ten Data on July 15, Anthony Willis, Senior Economist at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, stated that financial markets have become quite skilled at pricing in the various risks stemming from current uncertainties around the Strait of Hormuz. "Therefore, at present, we see no need to significantly reduce our risk exposure." However, he cautioned that the market should remain alert to the possibility of new risks emerging. He said, "But we do need to be aware that if this conflict escalates again, the market could face more risks going forward."
