MPOB: Raised the August reference price for Malaysia crude palm oil exports
Golden Ten Data Futures July 15 – According to foreign media reports, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) issued a notice on Wednesday stating that Malaysia has raised its reference export price for crude palm oil in August to 4,412.19 ringgit per ton (equivalent to $1,084.08), up from 4,346.79 ringgit per ton in July; the export tax rate remains at 10%. When the crude palm oil price is in the range of 2,250 to 2,400 ringgit per ton, the tax rate is 3%; when the price exceeds 4,050 ringgit per ton, the maximum tax rate is set at 10%.
