BTC has climbed back above $65,000, but there is a clear divergence among large investors. On one hand, "smart money" on Hyperliquid opened $54.5 million worth of BTC short positions with 12x leverage; on the other hand, within 45 minutes, four smart money addresses collectively shifted to long positions, buying a total of $11.82 million at the bottom. This indicates that the area around $65,000 has become the most fiercely contested zone between bulls and bears. For traders, it is more appropriate to wait for the market to show its direction these days rather than blindly chasing the rally. If BTC can consolidate above $65,000 to $65,600 with increasing volume and continue to break above recent highs, it is possible to follow the trend and pay attention to the pressure around $67,000. However, if BTC fails to break $65,600 after multiple attempts, or drops back below $64,500, caution is needed for a short-term pullback to the $63,500–$64,000 support area. The biggest edge right now is not predicting ups and downs, but respecting the market. The divergence among smart money shows that the trend has yet to reach a consensus. Managing position sizes and waiting for confirmation of a breakout before making decisions is often more important than betting on a direction in advance.
