Nasdaq-listed company bets 500,000 HYPE to jointly build institutional customized futures
This capital injection explicitly targets 500,000 HYPE tokens, aiming to deepen the alignment of interests between both parties through a dual mechanism of equity binding and revenue sharing.
According to Woofun AI, Nasdaq-listed company Hyperion DeFi (HYPD.US) has confirmed the signing of an agreement with Skew Technologies. Both parties will deploy 500,000 HYPE tokens onto Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 platform to support the development of a perpetual contracts futures market serving institutional clients. Hyunsu Jung, CEO of Hyperion DeFi, has confirmed this strategic anchor point. A press release published on Wednesday further disclosed that, as transaction consideration, Hyperion will obtain a partial equity stake in Skew and share in the revenue generated from the platform's listing services.
Woofun AI’s compiled data indicates that the size of this capital injection is set at 500,000 HYPE tokens, aiming to deepen the alignment of interests between the two parties through dual mechanisms of equity binding and revenue sharing. The two companies have stated clear business objectives to assist teams globally in utilizing Hyperliquid, a layer-1 blockchain infrastructure focused on perpetual contract futures trading, to build highly customized market solutions. A detailed analysis of the HIP-3 mechanism shows that this framework allows developers to commit HYPE as collateral capital to create new markets, thereby providing the token with a new function beyond staking.
This permissionless listing platform design represents a pivotal extension of the Hyperliquid ecosystem into the field of institutional services.
