According to Odaily, sources revealed that Eli Lilly (LLY.US) is in talks to acquire AtaiBeckley (ATAI.US), highlighting the growing interest of major pharmaceutical companies in the once-niche field of psychedelic drugs. The deal could be announced as early as this week. Driven by the acquisition news, AtaiBeckley's share price surged 65% in after-hours trading on Wednesday.
