Mohabber stated that parties supporting these attacks should recognize that assaults on Iran's security and infrastructure could disrupt the entire regional energy supply chain. He emphasized that attacks on Iranian infrastructure would have severe consequences for regional energy security. The Deputy Governor of Khuzestan Province stated on the evening of the 15th local time that multiple areas around the provincial capital Ahvaz were attacked by U.S. forces. Reports indicate that several shells hit an area near a local hospital. Additionally, the Deputy Governor of Sistan and Baluchestan Province confirmed on the 9th local time that Shahre Kord Airport was attacked early that morning, resulting in the death of a firefighter during the assault.
