After a period of consolidation and upward movement on the 1-hour chart, GBP/USD reached a high of 1.35439 before entering a corrective phase, currently displaying a trend of choppy decline. The upper resistance levels are at 1.3520 and 1.3544, while the lower support levels are at 1.3493 and 1.3480. In the short term, the price is expected to maintain a narrow range of consolidation. A break below 1.3493 will lead to further downside, while holding above this level could pave the way for testing the 1.3520 resistance.
