Bitget adds 22 new US stock tokens (rToken) to support weekend trading
Foresight News reports that, according to the official announcement, Bitget has added 22 new US stock tokens (rToken) supporting weekend trading, including rMRNA (Moderna), rAMAT (Applied Materials), and rORCL (Oracle) among others. Following this update, the platform now supports weekend trading for 61 stock tokens.
During US stock market holidays, the platform will generate weekend continuous trading prices based on Friday's closing prices, market maker quotes, and overall market expectations. This feature supports limit orders as well as take profit and stop loss settings. To prevent abnormal fluctuations, the system sets a protection limit of approximately ±20% for weekend limit orders.
The rToken labeled with the prefix r + stock code (such as rNVDA for Nvidia) is issued by Reality, a licensed RWA protocol under Bitget, and connects directly to global liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and NYSE through cooperation with licensed broker Alpaca. Its features include: 1:1 reserve of underlying assets with custodianship by licensed institutions, 1:1 distribution of stock dividends in token form, synchronized corporate actions such as stock splits and consolidations, and positions can serve as unified account and U-margined contract combined collateral. This allows users to flexibly manage funds while holding global stock assets.
