Polymarket World Cup Champion Market: Over 66% of Addresses in Loss, Significant Profits Concentrated Among Few Traders
BlockBeats News, July 20th, according to @defioasis data, out of over 194,000 unique wallet addresses participating in the Polymarket World Cup champion prediction market, nearly 130,000 addresses made incorrect predictions resulting in losses, accounting for 66.7% of the total. Among these, around 114,000 addresses incurred losses of $100 or less, with an average loss of less than $10; 43 addresses faced losses exceeding $100,000, totaling over $15 million in losses.
On the profit side, the majority of profits were $100 or less, with an average of less than $5; substantial profits mainly came from a few traders, with 54 addresses successfully profiting over $100,000, accumulating over $22 million in profits.
