Cathie Wood reduces AMD stock holdings by $11.7 million

Glonghui, July 20|According to daily trading disclosure data from ARK Investment: On July 17, several ARK funds under “Cathie Wood” sold a total of 23,573 shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Based on the closing price of $495.76 on that day, the total value of these shares is about $11.7 million. In recent months, Wood has continued to reduce her holdings in AMD, and the pace of reduction in July has not stopped. Including this sale, ARK Investment has sold a total of 137,421 AMD shares in July, with a market value of about $68.1 million based on the latest closing price. Even though Wood continues to trim her position, AMD remains ARK Innovation ETF’s eighth largest holding. From July 22 to July 23, AMD will host the 2026 AI Advancement Conference, during which CEO Lisa Su is expected to announce a full update to the AI product roadmap, covering the MI450X accelerator, MI500 GPU series, and the next generation of server processors.
