As of press time, Lumentum (LITE.US) rose 8%, Coherent (COHR.US) climbed over 5.7%, Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) gained over 3%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI.US) advanced over 2%, and Corning (GLW.US) increased over 1%. On the news front, Barclays believes that although the share prices of some companies have recently pulled back due to market concerns, their demand fundamentals surrounding AI network components remain robust, representing a buying opportunity on dips. The main driving force behind the sector’s rise continues to be strong demand from AI. Feedback from the industry chain shows that AI computing power investment continues to grow, directly boosting demand for optical modules, optical devices, and related products.
