Glonghui, July 21 | Despite a sustained, significant share price correction, analysts remain bullish on Japanese memory chip maker Kioxia, believing that as supply-demand conditions improve, the company's stock price is set to rebound. Currently, analysts' average target price for Kioxia is 121,959 yen, which is 130% higher than the current share price. Kioxia's share price fell to 52,110 yen last Friday, less than half of the historical high reached less than a month ago. Kazuyoshi Saito, senior analyst at Iwai Cosmo Securities, stated: "The fundamentals have not changed at all. Supported by strong AI demand, the company's solid profitability and growth outlook remain robust." His target price is 132,000 yen. He added: "Once supply-demand distortions caused by factors such as Korean ETFs ease, positive catalysts such as strong financial results will drive share prices higher."

The earnings yield of stocks, as measured by the inverse of the S&P 500’s price-to-earnings ratio, is now lower than the 10-year US Treasury yield, resulting in a clear yield suppression effect on the stock market from bonds. According to the Shiller model, the S&P 500 may outperform bonds by only about 1% annually over the next decade. The 20-year paradigm of stocks outperforming bonds has officially come to an end.
