KOSPI Index Closes 0.7% Higher, Surges Over 6% in Early Trading
On July 22, the Nikkei 225 Index closed down 116.59 points, or 0.18%, at 66,115.60. The Korea KOSPI Index closed up 49.75 points, or 0.74%, at 6,797.7. In early trading, the index once surged over 6%. SK Hynix fell 0.32%, while Samsung Electronics rose 0.57%. (Jin Shi)
