Futurum analyst: SpaceX’s full commitment to Starship may create a gap in rocket launch capabilities, benefiting RKLB
According to Odaily, in response to the news that "SpaceX will stop accepting Falcon 9 commercial contracts," Futurum Equities Chief Market Strategist Shay Boloor wrote that if the "Starship" is not successfully commercialized by 2028, this shift could create a significant gap in rocket launch capacity, potentially benefiting second-tier rocket launch service providers such as Rocket Lab (RKLB).
This morning, sources revealed that SpaceX has started rejecting exclusive commercial launch orders for "Falcon 9" after 2028, and has suspended accepting new reservations for the Rideshare program, in order to accelerate the transition to Starship.
