Video | Janus Henderson fund manager: Nvidia's cyclical financing risks are currently under control
On July 27, Janus Henderson fund manager Alison Porter stated in an interview with Bloomberg that the AI industry is entering a “circular financing” stage: AI application growth requires more computing power, and the expansion of computing power is prompting tech giants to continuously increase capital expenditures.
She believes that NVIDIA is helping to drive AI infrastructure development through financing guarantees and other means, but the risks remain manageable for now, as NVIDIA has one of the strongest balance sheets in the industry. What truly needs to be watched is whether future revenue growth at AI companies such as OpenAI can outpace the rate of increase in capital expenditure.
