SK Hynix: Actively Discussing 2027 HBM Supply and Pricing with Key Customers, Aiming to Maintain Robust Profitability
BlockBeats News, July 29th - SK Hynix stated during the Q2 2026 earnings conference call that the company is currently in negotiations with a key customer regarding the 2027 HBM supply scale and pricing. The negotiations are progressing smoothly due to strong customer demand, but the specific customer contract and pricing details are not disclosed at the moment.
SK Hynix mentioned that the pricing of HBM is not solely determined by the traditional DRAM price but will also take into account various factors such as wafers, advanced processes, TSV, packaging, capacity investment, technological complexity, opportunity cost, and product value.
