Under the Wreckage, South Korean Stock Community Wails as President's Approval Rating Drops for Two Consecutive Weeks
BlockBeats News, July 29th - Today, retail investors in the South Korean stock market seem to have plunged into extreme panic. In the main stock community Daum Forum in Korea, retail investors are wailing, with the mainstream voices focusing on "regret for bottom-fishing" and "criticizing inadequate regulation."
According to Yonhap News Agency, a public opinion survey released on the 27th showed that South Korean President Lee Jaemyung's approval rating has fallen for two consecutive weeks and remained at around 40%. The polling agency Realmeter analyzed, "The downward trend this week seems to be continuing, with negative economic factors such as public strong opposition to real estate issues, including the controversy over Beontang mortgage loans and discussions on strengthening property taxes, as well as policy conflicts regarding leveraged ETFs and supplementary investigative powers."
