Humana's Q2 revenue rises 26% year-on-year, surpassing expectations and maintaining full-year profit guidance

Glonghui July 29｜Humana announced its second quarter results, with revenue up approximately 26% year-on-year to $40.87 billion, exceeding analysts’ expectations of $40.57 billion; adjusted earnings per share were $7.61, also beating expectations of $7.26. The benefit expense ratio reached 91.1%, higher than Wall Street’s expectation of 89.7%, and also above the 89.7% from the same period last year. Meanwhile, membership increased approximately 21% year-on-year, reaching around 17.91 million, higher than the expected 17.64 million. Humana maintained its outlook for adjusted earnings per share of at least $9 in 2026, while analysts expected $8.98.
