KPMG: The Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates in September
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, KPMG Chief Economist Diane Swonk stated that she expects the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in September. She noted that inflation has remained high for five years; although this is not entirely the responsibility of the Federal Reserve, it is the Fed's choice whether or not to take action. Price increases have lasted too long and are turning from an anomaly into the norm.
