South Korea plans to legislate the freezing of cryptocurrency accounts suspected of illegal transfers
According to ChainCatcher, citing Digital Asset, on July 28, Kim Sang-hoon, a member of the South Korean People Power Party, along with 15 others, proposed an amendment to the "Specific Financial Information Act" that would allow financial authorities to require a freeze on payments from virtual asset accounts suspected of being used for illegal asset transfers.
