Amazon Q2 Net Sales $200.6 Billion, Up 20% YoY
On July 31, Amazon reported Q2 net sales of $200.6 billion, up 20% year-over-year, beating estimates of $197.01 billion. North America net sales were $116.18 billion, up 16% YoY, vs analyst estimate of $113.94 billion. Physical store net sales were $5.79 billion, vs estimate of $5.87 billion. AWS net sales were $42.23 billion, vs estimate of $40.57 billion. AWS net sales grew 37% excluding currency effects, vs estimate of 31.3%. Amazon's free cash flow outflow over the past twelve months fell to $7.6 billion. Amazon expects Q3 net sales of $197 billion to $202 billion, vs analyst estimate of $203.93 billion.
