Foreign investors recorded the largest net selling of Korean stocks in June, but their holdings' market value rose to a historical high.
ChainCatcher news, according to a report by Golden Ten Data, data released by the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea on the 31st shows that in June, foreign investors had a net sale of 4.9336 trillion KRW of South Korean listed stocks, marking the sixth consecutive month of net selling. Of this, the main board market recorded a net sale of 5.0979 trillion KRW, while the growth board market saw a net purchase of 164.3 billion KRW. From the beginning of this year to June, foreign investors have accumulated a net sale of 11.63563 trillion KRW, which is more than ten times the net sales for the whole of last year.
