Jake Claver States What It Means to Be An XRP Holder
Jake Claver is not subtle about his conviction on XRP. The financial commentator has built a following around his bullish stance on the asset, and on July 30, he shared another notable post with his community.
Claver stated that owning XRP means a holder “looked at the settlement problem before it was obvious, and sat with a position a lot of people still don’t understand.” He congratulated XRP holders for “being ahead of the curve.”

Congratulations on being ahead of the curve
Long-Term Holders Respond
Others were more measured. One commenter said the moment did not feel like a win yet. XRP experienced a notable decline in June, and while analysts had high expectations for July, the asset has failed to meet them. XRP currently trades at $1.07, close to its price at the start of the month.
Skeptics Push Back
Another said Claver’s investors were “down millions of dollars.” Some experts have predicted that XRP could create new millionaires in a few months, but critics are pushing back due to the asset’s underperformance.
What’s Next for XRP?
Claver’s conviction has not always translated to accurate forecasts. His 2025 prediction that XRP would reach $100 by year-end missed by approximately 98% as XRP closed 2025 near $1.87. Claver acknowledged the miss.
He argued that delays are normal when working with regulators and large institutions, and that major projects almost always take longer than planned. In 2026, he has predicted that XRP could hit $750 by the end of the year. However, the community sentiment remains split.
