Jinse Finance reported that on August 7th, it was learned that officials in the Trump administration are considering delaying the implementation of tariffs originally planned for solar panels and other products containing polysilicon by several months. According to sources, U.S. President Trump could order the implementation of the relevant tariffs as early as Thursday, but officials are considering setting a transition period of 90 to 120 days. It is reported that this arrangement could prompt companies involved in U.S. renewable energy projects to accelerate imports before the tariffs are formally imposed.
