(1) France’s official reserve assets at the end of July increased to €357.05 billion from June’s eight-month low of €355.39 billion, mainly driven by a rise in foreign currency reserves. (2) Foreign currency reserves rose from €32.42 billion in June to €34.37 billion; gold reserves decreased from €277.03 billion to €276.79 billion; claims on the International Monetary Fund declined from €39.46 billion to €39.42 billion; other reserve assets fell from €6.48 billion to €6.46 billion. (3) In the same period last year, France’s total official reserve assets amounted to €303.04 billion.
