Ripple Drops A New Video That Stuns XRP Army

Ripple Drops A New Video That Stuns XRP Army

TimesTabloidTimesTabloid2026/08/07 12:03

Crypto enthusiast Amelie shared a new video on X from Ripple describing MiCA as a key development for regulated finance in Europe. The post emphasized Ripple’s position in the European market and presented the company’s regulatory progress as part of its efforts to provide financial infrastructure across the region.

In the video, Matt Osborne, Ripple’s Head of Policy for the UK and Europe, stated that regulatory clarity provides the foundation for institutional trust. He then announced that Ripple had received a cryptoasset license from its regulator in Luxembourg.

Osborne explained that the license allows European banks, fintech companies and corporates to access Ripple’s payments infrastructure across all 30 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA).

The development places regulatory compliance at the center of Ripple’s European expansion. Rather than focusing only on cryptocurrency trading, the company continues to position its infrastructure around payments and financial services that can operate within established regulatory requirements.

Osborne Connects MiCA With Regulated Finance

Osborne also directly connected Ripple’s Luxembourg authorization with the implementation of MiCA across Europe. He said the regulation is enabling a new era of regulated finance and maintained that Ripple is built to operate within that environment.

MiCA establishes a common regulatory framework for crypto-assets across the European Union, creating rules for companies providing certain crypto-asset services. For companies such as Ripple, regulatory authorization can provide a clearer basis for offering services to financial institutions and corporate customers operating within the region.

Amelie’s post highlights the company’s stated alignment with the continent’s developing regulatory structure.

The announcement also comes as Ripple continues to develop its presence in European financial markets. The Luxembourg license provides another regulatory development for the company as it seeks to make its payments infrastructure available to customers across the EEA.

XRP Community Reacts to the Development

Ripple’s video, however, focused primarily on institutional access and regulatory compliance.
