Fort St. James Nickel launches 2026 exploration program at Porcupine property in New Brunswick
Reuters2026/08/07 13:01- Fort St. James Nickel began a 2026 prospecting and rock geochemical sampling program at its Porcupine property in central New Brunswick.
- Work targets recently logged ground near reported zinc, lead, copper soil anomalies and induced polarization anomalies, including an area west of 2018 drilling.
- 2018 holes hit near-surface base-metal and silver mineralization, including 5.87% zinc over 0.4 meters with 13.8 g/t silver.
- Rock samples from the 2026 program will be sent to an independent lab for zinc, lead, copper, silver, gold, and rare earth analysis.
