  • Altcoin FET prints double bottom formation on its price chart.
  • Buyers continue to defend critical support zone again.
  • The price of FET prepares to experience a massive surge.

The altcoin community continues to showcase resilience and strength as several promising crypto assets continue to see a fall in prices, despite the many bullish indicators on their price charts. At the moment, most altcoins are still working towards playing out in a bullish manner. For instance, Altcoin FET prints double bottom formation as buyers continue to defend critical support zone again.

Altcoin FET Prints Double Bottom Formation

Among the many bullish altcoins in the market, several all still going through corrections and bottom price setups at the moment. Among them is FET, which has been highlighted by several bullish analysts who expect the asset to surge by a respectable distance. Despite these high expectations, the price of FET has only been falling to retest critical support levels.

As we can see from the post above, FET/USDT is printing a double bottom formation with its price around $0.133. Presently, buyers have defended the $0.13 – $0.14 critical support zone twice, showing potential accumulation and weakening selling pressure. A breakout above $0.155 could confirm the pattern and open the way toward the chart target near $0.18. If support fails, the bullish setup weakens.

The post goes on to conclude by saying that FET is building a base, and a neckline breakout is the key trigger. Additionally, an industry analyst goes on to break down the value of FET and its vision. As we can see in the post above, FET sits at the center of one of crypto’s more genuine attempts to merge two hype cycles into a single thesis: AI and blockchain, in the same token.

Buyers Continue to Defend Critical Support Zone Again

In mid-2024, Fetch AI combined tokens with SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol to form the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, with FET becoming the base token that AGIX and OCEAN converted into at fixed rates. The pitch was a decentralized alternative to closed AI labs — autonomous agents, a decentralized AI marketplace, and open data exchange, all under one roof, aimed at competing with the large closed AI labs on openness if not on raw compute.

Ocean Protocol has since exited the alliance amid governance disputes, a reminder that multi-project token mergers stay messy in practice even when the underlying thesis holds up. FET trades near $0.1341 today, down about 2.6% in 24 hours, on a $299.3 million market cap and $40.6 million in 24h volume, actually the highest 24-hour volume of the five tickers in this batch relative to its own market cap, well ahead of tokens with several times its valuation.

Will the Fed "continue raising interest rates"? Will the "tightening cycle" of the late 1980s be repeated?

The Citi report points out that the current macro environment is highly similar to the tightening cycle of 1988-1989, when the economy remained resilient and inflation pressures gradually accumulated, followed by a slowdown in economic activity before policies shifted to easing. During that tightening cycle, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates 16 times in a row.

Rare alliance of arch-rivals! Musk and Altman support Dario Amodei's call to "slow down AI globally"

Anthropic's Amodei issued a call to "slow down AI globally," and to everyone's surprise, rivals Musk and Altman both publicly endorsed the initiative. The three industry giants unanimously agreed to grant third-party access to "employee-level" evaluation rights and to implement coordinated deceleration measures. Altman went further, announcing that OpenAI will not IPO this year. The resignation of a researcher and a collective breakout of uncontrollable AI systems have ignited long-standing industry fears.
