Lithium Ionic agrees to sell Salinas lithium assets to PLS for US$37.5 million cash
Reuters2026/08/12 23:54- Lithium Ionic agreed to sell its Salinas lithium properties in Brazil to PLS Brasil Mineração for USD 37.5 million cash.
- USD 30 million due at closing; USD 7.5 million deferred to the earlier of a positive Colina project FID or Dec. 31, 2029.
- Neolit will retain a 2% royalty on future spodumene sales from Baixa Grande, calculated on an FOB basis.
- Deal expected to close within 10 business days; proceeds earmarked to advance the 100%-owned Bandeira lithium project.
