Sprott Physical Copper Trust net income falls to USD 7.98 million in H1 FY26; revenue rises to USD 9.93 million
Reuters2026/08/13 20:32- Sprott Physical Copper Trust posted net income of USD 7.98 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, down from USD 13.06 million.
- Net change in unrealized gains on copper fell to USD 9.82 million from USD 15.49 million, with no realized gains on copper sales.
- Total expenses rose to USD 1.95 million from USD 776,000, driven by USD 639,000 of commissions and USD 466,000 of management fees.
- Net asset value climbed to USD 202.7 million, or USD 12.26 per unit, from USD 131.4 million, or USD 11.60 per unit, at Dec. 31, 2025.
- Copper holdings increased to 14,808 metric tons from 9,945 metric tons; the trust returned 5.7% versus 6.6% for spot copper.
