Canary Gold reports visible gold grains in 29 of 30 RC samples at Madeira River project in Brazil
Reuters2026/08/14 12:02- Canary Gold reported visible gold grains in gravity concentrates from 29 of 30 one-meter RC samples at its Madeira River project in Brazil.
- ODM identified 190 grains; 82.1% were reshaped, consistent with transport in an alluvial sedimentary system at the Jaci Paraná target.
- Fine gold dominated by count, with 87.4% at 100 micrometers or less; five grains above 150 micrometers drove 44.1% of calculated mass.
- Results were described as semi-quantitative concentrate observations, not head grades, recovery results, or evidence of grade continuity beyond one hole.
- Next steps include whole-sample tests of about 40 RC intervals, followed by potential sonic drilling from September 2026 to estimate mg per cubic meter grades.
