STS Digital acquires Swiss market maker flovtec
Digital asset trading firm STS Digital has acquired Swiss crypto market maker flovtec to expand its market-making capabilities and enhance liquidity solutions.
STS Digital, which specializes in over-the-counter trading and market making, believes its strategic acquisition of flovtec will "significantly accelerate its market making services" by "offering deeper liquidity and tighter spreads to flovtec's established clientele," according to a press release.
Services that may be bolstered include regulated custody, tailored liquidity solutions and trading strategies.
The acquired firm's trading infrastructure and proprietary algorithms will be integrated into STS Digital's existing platform. STS claims this will "facilitate the development of new and innovative trading products and services."
Additionally, flovtec's being regulated in Switzerland may help STS Digital expand in the European market.
