GoDaddy data shows Alberta leads Canada in 2025 microbusiness growth at 17%

- Alberta posted 17% growth, ahead of Nova Scotia at 16% and Ontario at 16%.
- All provinces recorded gains; six provinces logged growth of at least 15%.
- Microbusinesses remained small: 92% had fewer than 10 employees, more than 25% were solo-run.
- Only 28% reported the venture as primary income; 38% used it to supplement earnings.
