Japan Gold FY26 Q2 net loss narrows 20.24% to CAD 1.26 million
Reuters2026/08/25 17:54- Japan Gold posted an IFRS net loss of CAD 2.11 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, narrowing from CAD 2.78 million.
- Net comprehensive loss improved to CAD 2.12 million from CAD 2.39 million, helped by a CAD 8,609 foreign-currency translation loss.
- Cash and cash equivalents fell to CAD 1.79 million at June 30 from CAD 2.97 million at Dec. 31, 2025.
- Net cash used in operating activities widened to CAD 2.37 million from CAD 1.18 million, while exploration and evaluation spending rose to CAD 1.77 million.
- Financing included CAD 2.7 million of net proceeds from unsecured convertible debentures, lifting non-current liabilities to CAD 2.81 million.
