06:15 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Somnigroup International (SGI) has received European Commission approval to acquire sole control of Leggett & Platt (LEG), the commission said on Wednesday. The regulator said the deal would not raise competition concerns because the companies have limited individual and combined market positions.
