EQB Q3 Adjusted Earnings Rise but Miss FactSet Estimates; Revenue Jumps 27%

05:27 PM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EQB (EQB.TO) after market close on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter adjustedearnings per share of C$2.12, up 2% on year-over-year basis, but missing the FactSet consensus estimate of C$2.21. Adjusted revenue in the quarter ended on July 31 surged 27% annually to C$393.0 million, exceeding the FactSet consensus of C$370.2 million. The bank holding company raised its provision for credit losses to C$302.98 million from C$33.97 million. EQB also declared a dividend of $0.63 per common share payable on Sept. 29 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 15, representing 3% and 15% increases from the dividends paid in June 2026 and Sept. 2025, respectively. Its shares closed up C$3.27 to C$137.87 on Toronto stock Exchange on Wednesday.
