04:39 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Globus Medical (GMED) acquired Higgs Boson Health, a digital healthcare company incubated by Duke University. Higgs Boson's software developers and AI scientists will power Globus' vision of a "seamless digital healthcare environment" to simplify a patient's journey through the healthcare system, Executive Chairman David Paul said. The AI team will also enhance real-time information and surgical intelligence available to healthcare providers, targeting 95% good outcomes at 10 years for all musculoskeletal surgeries, he added. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed in the company statement released late Wednesday.
