CrowdStrike (CRWD) shares were up 8% in Thursday's premarket activity after the company reported overnight fiscal Q2 earnings and sales above market expectations. The company reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.31 per diluted share, up from $0.23 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.29. Revenue for the three months ended July 31 was $1.47 billion, up from $1.17 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.44 billion. For fiscal Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of $0.31 on revenue of $1.523 billion to $1.529 billion. Analysts expect EPS of $0.31 on revenue of $1.51 billion. For the full-year fiscal 2027, the company now expects adjusted EPS of $1.25 to $1.26 on revenue of $5.99 billion to $6.01 billion. It earlier expected adjusted EPS of $4.88 to $4.96 on revenue of $5.91 billion to $5.96 billion. The current EPS guidance is based on about 1.04 billion diluted weighted average shares, versus the full-year forecast set out in Q1 results based on 259 million diluted weighted average shares. Analysts expect EPS of $1.23 on revenue of $5.94 billion.
